Flexible Program Options
A variety of academic programs offer you countless of choices for study. We offer many courses and even entire programs online. In addition, you can take courses during the day or evening, and either part-time or full-time. You can log onto your online course from work, home, or anywhere you have Internet access, and work at your own pace to complete weekly course assignments.
Texas A&M University-Texarkana will accept transfer credits from accredited colleges or universities for courses in which you earned and that are applicable to your program of study.

For this reason, our nationally recognized, fully accredited 4-year university offers top academic programs, complete with an outstanding group of faculty and staff plus the latest state-of-the-art facilities on our new Bringle Lake Campus. We are the college, life-altering experience that will prepare you for all your future endeavors.
Texas A&M University-Texarkana offers the lowest tuition of any 4-year university in the state of Texas plus a $1,500 per year scholarship, making tuition less than $4,000 per year. Our Bringle Lake Village housing is brand new, equipped with the following in each room: microwave, bathroom, refrigerator, cable/internet connection, and a flat-screen television. Plus, a washing/drying facility is available in the dorms, FREE of charge to the students.
- Must have 21 transferable hours; and
- 2.0 grade point average (GPA) or higher on all transferable coursework.
Appicants who do not meet the admission requirements above are encouraged to attend or continue at your current community college to boost transfer GPA. All applicants are eligible to appeal the admission decision. Applicants will be notified in their admission letter of the decision and the required documents needed to complete the appeal process.

- Submit official transcripts from all prior universities or colleges attended, as well as military transcripts (if applicable).
- Pay non-refundable $30.00 application fee.

I'm Admitted, What's Next?
1. Confirm Financial Aid and Scholarships
Check your Ace mail account to view messages regarding your status. You will be receiving award notifications with directions on how to accept your offers, missing information requests, and other pertinent information regarding your financial aid and scholarship application.
2. Apply for Residential Living
One of the most exciting aspects of the university experience is the opportunity to live on campus (Bringle Lake Village). Studies have been made that suggest that students who live on campus generally perform better as opposed to those who do not.

3. Get Vaccinated
Submit proof of the bacterial meningitis vaccination if under 22 years of age to Magnus Health. Please visit the Bacterial Meningitis

4. Register for and attend Student Orientation, Advising and Registration (SOAR)
The Orientation Office welcomes new incoming freshman and transfer students to the Eagle Family. The purpose of SOAR is to provide new students the opportunity to:
- Receive advising and meet with your Academic or Faculty Advisor
- Register for classes
- Receive student ID card
- Learn about student services and resources available to heighten success
- Meet other new and current students
