An international student is anyone who is not a U.S. citizen. A permanent resident alien who has completed two or more years in and graduated from a U.S. high school is required to meet the admission standards for U.S. citizens.
An official A&M-Texarkana letter of acceptance will be sent when a student has been accepted for admission. International applicants should not make plans to depart for Texarkana until the acceptance letter and supporting documentation (i.e. I-20) has been received. Actions taken prior to the receipt of the acceptance letter are at the student's own risk.
International students must complete the admission requirements at least 60 days prior to the beginning of class. It is entirely the students’ responsibility to obtain the correct visa and maintain your immigration status while you are in the United States. Read the conditions of your immigration status on page 2 of I-20 form before you sign it.
