Revise the Texas A&M University-Texarkana 42 SCH core curriculum to comply with new Coordinating Board rules (TAC 19, Subchapter B, §4.28-4.31). The new rules require exactly 42 semester credit hours (SCH) of core curriculum coursework nested under eight component areas (Communications; Mathematics; Life and Physical Science; Language, Philosophy, and Culture; Creative Arts; American History; Government/Political Science; and Social/Behavioral Science)for which three to six core objectives (Critical Thinking, Communication Skills, Empirical and Quantitative, Teamwork, Social Responsibility, and Personal Responsibility) are mapped.

Curriculum Assessment Charge
Provide assistance to the Offices of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs and Planning and Institutional Effectiveness in all matters related to the assessment of curriculum (design) and instruction (delivery) to provide feedback for determining student mastery and continuous improvement of the teaching/learning process.
