Apply for Housing

Housing Applications for the 2017-2018 Academic Year:

Please Be aware that Texas A&M University - Texarkana has Housing and Meal Plan requirements of which all potential students should be familiar.

The following information should be helpful to you and may answer some of the questions you may have about the housing application and assignment process here at Texas A&M University - Texarkana.

  • Rooms are assigned based on the date that we received your housing application and fee.  It is always a good idea to apply early if you have a particular room that you prefer.  Some rooms traditionally fill up earlier than others.
  • Roommates will be assigned for students who do not have someone listed. Roommates will be matched on compatibility section on the housing application. It is highly recommended that if you want a certain roommate that you complete the section that states roommate request. If your want to be placed with someone with your same degree or athletic team please place the major or team your are a part of such as baseball, soccer, Biology, or English.
  • Your $100 application fee is due when the application is submitted and is non-refundable.        
  • Applications submitted are contracted for an academic year (Fall and Spring). 

MOVE-IN Day for New Students: Freshmen that are participating in Hatch Camp will move-in August 24th.  All other new residents will move in on August 26th. 

Please read the Residence Hall Contract prior to completing the housing application!

Residence Hall Contract (You will be asked to agree to the terms of the residence hall contract at the end of the housing application.)
