Spring Fling : Thursday, April 19th:

  • Crawfish Boil featuring Burnhouse | 6:30pm | UC Deck
    • SGA is providing the smokin' hot crawfish and CAB is providing the tunes.  Join us to get your fill on the best music and food around.  Free for all students, faculty, and staff.  Student ID Required.

Spring Fling: Friday, April 20th:

  • Fishing Derby and Cookout | 12:00pm | Eagle Pond
    • The TAMUT Fishing Team is hosting a fishing derby and grilling up some hot dogs for TAMUT students.
  • Powderpuff Football Game | 6:00pm | Pleasant Grove High School Football Field
    • Join Phi Lambda Chi for the 5th Annual Powderpuff Football Game.  Admission is $3 or 3 canned goods.  All proceeds benefit The Salvation Army.

PLACE Paper Awards
The awards for PLACE papers will be given out Friday, April 20. The ceremony will be from 12:00-1:15pm in the 4th floor atrium of University Center.

Employee of the Month
Ayla Baldwin, Benefits Coordinator in Human Resources, has been named the employee of the month for March 2018! Ayla has taken on the responsibility of keeping the HR department running smoothly in the absence of a Director, filled in as needed for other colleagues and helped to implement the Work Day system and train employees on how to use it. Ayla is always willing to help wherever and however she is needed, and is very deserving of this award. Thank you Ayla, for all that you do for the TAMUT family. We appreciate you!

Red River Innovation Lab for the Humanities April Calendar

  • Monday, April 23 - The RRILH Festival of Creative Work - 12:00 p.m. in SCIT 120
  • Wednesday, April 25 - Discussion with Henry Jenkins -  1:00 p.m. in Texar Room

The Red River Innovation Lab for the Humanities is open for business in SCIT 120.  The hours are M/W/F (9-5 p.m.) and Tuesday/Thursday (11-7 p.m.). 

Respondus Lockdown Browser Webinar
This special training webinar focuses on the advanced features of LockDown Browser. You will learn how to allow students to use ebooks, spreadsheets, and calculators while maintaining the security of your online test, as well as some best practices. Library Book Club
The Library Book Club will host a discussion of Earnest Cline's "Ready Player One" on April 24 in the Tri-State Iron & Metal Atrium on the 3rd floor of University Center. The discussion will be led by Dr. Walter Casey and will last from 12:15-1:30pm.
