The motion passed. 2. Under new business Jim Harbin moved to include a section entitled “Justification for” on the Course Inventory Add Form. Jane Hastings seconded. The motion passed. 3. New Superintendent Preparation Program Proposal. Jane Hastings expressed the full support of the Education faculty. Jane motioned to approve, Jim Martin seconded. The motion passed. 4. New Nursing Courses: NURS301: Professional Nursing Practice NURS302: Health Assessment Across the Life Span NURS303: Leadership & Management in Nursing Practice NURS304: Introduction to Research for Nursing Practice NURS405: Professional Nursing Practice with Individuals & Families NURS406: Community Health Nursing Practice NURS407: Quality Issues & Responsibilities in Professional Practice NURS497: Special Topics in Nursing Practice NURS489: Directed Independent Study in Nursing Practice Jim Martin motioned to approve, seconded by Art Simonson. The motion passed. 5. New Biological Sciences Courses: SCED506: Earth System Science for K-4 Teachers SCED507: Earth System Science for 5-8 Teachers SCED508: Earth System Science for 9-12 Teachers Jane Hastings motioned to approve, seconded by Art Simonson. The motion passed. 6. Web-based delivery of ACCT525: Administrative Controls. Jim Harbin motioned to approve, there was no second. The motion died. 7. MATH350: Concepts of Measurement & Data Interpretation & MATH351: Concepts of Geometry Art Simonson motioned to approve, seconded by Jane Hastings. The motion passed. 8. New Math Courses: MATH352: Mathematical Foundations & Applications MATH597: Special Topics: Projective Geometry Art Simonson motioned to approve, seconded by Jane Hastings. The motion passed. 9. New History Course: Internship Art Simonson motioned to approve, seconded by Jane Hastings. The motion passed. 10. Revised Catalog Description for BAAS Program. Jim Martin motioned to approve, Art Simonson seconded. The motion passed with one abstention. 11. New Biology Course: BSC409: Comparative Animal Physiology Jane Hastings motioned to approve, seconded by Art Simonson. The motion passed. 12. ENG412: Shakespeare Examined Through Performance. New course title. Art Simonson motioned to approve, seconded by Jane Hastings. The motion passed. 13. Old Business 14. New Business: Judy Sanders requested approval of EDU497/597: Special Topics.
