Alexandria C. Cosma
Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health and Bachelor of Science in Psychology
Originally, coming to A&M-Texarkana was a stepping stone for my degree at the University of Oklahoma. I was going to take some classes and then return to Norman, Oklahoma, to finish my degree. It ended up working out much better than I originally planned. I found a university that really helped me on my path to becoming a professional. I acquired my bachelor's degree in Psychology here at A&M-Texarkana and then turned around the following fall and enrolled in the Clinical Mental Health program. Looking at other master's programs across the country, there were some that were similar, but I already knew the professors here and they are what really made the A&M-Texarkana experience what I've come to love.
Here at A&M-Texarkana the professors and staff care. They offer more than just an education; they offer an opportunity to build yourself as a person while you grow academically and professionally. I know I did. I was not just a number in their eyes, and it has made all the difference. That's why I continued to pursue my education here at A&M-Texarkana. With their support I've been able to pursue my interests, and they've been able to help guide me so that I can use the information after I graduate. I could not say enough good things about A&M-Texarkana. I'm pleased to call this school my alma mater.
