Pursuing a degree in accounting
This is my first year at Texas A&M University - Texarkana; I have enjoyed my experience here thus far. I feel right at home with the other students and faculty. TAMUT is like a big family, and we are always willing to help one another. I never feel like I get lost in the crowd, everyone here at Texas A&M University - Texarkana is important. I love how much support I get here and the encouragement to do my best.
I am working on a business degree in accounting. I plan to get a MBA with a concentration in accounting then sit for the CPA exam. After I receive my CPA certification, I plan to venture off to law school where I want to become a corporate attorney.
Along with taking 15 credit hours, I am involved in the Accounting club, CAB, and the ambassador program. There are many activities to do during the week such as intramural sports, yoga, and various events happening all the time. I always have an opportunity to engage in something fun.
