Lindsey Martin

Junior, Biology Major

Maud, Texas

Texas A&M University-Texarkana was my top college choice to attend post high school. It is local to my hometown and offered the degree and prerequisites I need for future schooling after obtaining my bachelor’s degree in Biology here at A&M-Texarkana.

I plan on graduating in the spring of 2017. I am a full-time student taking multiple courses in the summer, fall and spring semesters, and by doing this I will be receiving my degree in a total of three years. After graduation I plan to apply to optometry school to become an optometrist. I am looking forward to using my degree from A&M-Texarkana to benefit my professional school career.

I have enjoyed attending college here at A&M-Texarkana. Campus life offers so many organizations and clubs to help make you fit right in. The university hosts many activities for students as well as for the community. Texas A&M University-Texarkana is a supporter of you and wants you to succeed.
