Meet Hope Francis Hughes, a 2012 TAMUT alumnae living in Charleston, South Carolina, where she works as mortgage marketing manager for SouthState Bank.
A graduate of Atlanta, TX, High School, Hope earned an associate’s degree in general business from Texarkana College before completing her bachelor’s degree in mass communications at A&M-Texarkana. After graduating she went to South Carolina to visit family and ended up staying for two years working in the hospitality industry before eventually returning to Texas to work in the financial sector. Looking for a better career fit she changed directions and became a marketing coordinator for BWI and eventually took on a similar role with Texana Bank.
Meet Logan Buck. Born in Texarkana and raised in Hooks, TX., he’s a graduate of Hooks High School who completed his bachelor’s degree at A&M-Texarkana in December of 2023 and is currently in medical school at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Tyler, TX.
Introducing alumnus Tim Frith, former Eagles baseball player and 2020 A&M-Texarkana graduate who is now an attorney with Wright Lindsey Jennings in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Originally from Stayton, Oregon, Tim played baseball for two years at Treasure Valley Community College in Ontario, Oregon before finding his way to Texas. Tim never visited the campus before enrolling at the university but heard about the program through one of his coaches while playing summer ball in the Great West League. “The affordability of the university was a big thing,” Frith said. “And I thought a change of scenery would be nice.”

Meet Donnie Spriggs. Donnie is a Texarkana area native who graduated from Redwater High School in 2013. Donnie graduated from Texas A&M University-Texarkana in 2021 with a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree (which has since been reformatted and renamed as the Bachelor of Science in Leadership degree).
