This page is to provide information to persons wishing to host a youth camp on the TAMUT campus.  Those looking for information about a specific camp must contact the Camp Director.  

Programs for Minors are often referred to as Camps.  To protect the safety and welfare of the minors attending the camp, Texas A&M Texarkana has several requirements in place, whether the camp is sponsored by the University or a 3rd party on our campus.  

Prior to hosting any Programs for Minors, the Program for Minor Director must Complete the following documents and work in coordination with our Campus Life Director (Programs for Minors Administrator).  

University Rule 24.01.06.H1 Programs for Minors 

Camp Application - due at least 4 weeks prior to the beginning of the camp

Risk Assessment Matrix 

Insurance Policy Information - offered for reference, see Campus Life for current information

Personnel Job Descriptions - may be of any appropriate format.  See Campus Life for examples if needed

Third Party Camp Contract (required if program sponsor is not part of TAMUT)

Personnel Roster - required with confirmation of clean background check at least 1 day prior to start of camp

Documentation of Child Protection Training - to be forwarded to Campus Life 2 weeks prior to start of camp

Personnel Child Welfare / Communication / Confidentiality Agreement - required prior to start of camp

Participant Waiver of Indemnification, Medical Treatment, Medical History, and Parent Contact Info Form - to be completed by beginning of camp

Medical Information and Release Form - to be completed by beginning of camp

TAMUT Image Release - optional, to be completed by beginning of camp

Participant Roster / Sign-in Sheet - to be completed daily during camp
