Graduate Assistantships

All Graduate Assistantships for teaching and non-teaching positions are processed through the Dean of Graduate Studies. Beginning Spring 2023, the hiring of Graduate Assistants (GA) must follow the Graduate Assistant Hiring Process to ensure appropriate approvals and the hiring of qualified candidates.  

The goal of implementing this process is to ensure that all necessary approvals needed for hiring will be met swiftly, efficiently, appropriately documented, and maintain consistency. In addition, this process facilitates compliance with our accreditors (program and university) that require we report our current hiring processes and how we confirm student qualifications for Graduate Assistant positions.
