Student Advising
All CBET students, including Engineering students should plan to consult with their academic advisor every semester before enrolling for next semester courses.
Advising sessions are helpful to discuss curriculum, course loads, as well as clear pathways to graduation. For transfer students, EE academic advising is particularly important to identify the appropriate courses in the EE degree in according to prerequisite constraints.
Academic advisors are also able to assist students with adjustment to college life, monitor student’s academic progress, and advise students for scholarship opportunities.
Students are also encouraged to speak with their faculty advisors, who can help with career options.
