Faculty-Led Programs:

Study Abroad Program Providers

TAMUT works with several providers that offer programs almost anywhere you can imagine. The greatest advantage of these programs is that they offer you a package with several things included, like tuition, housing, some meals, excursions, cultural activities, visa support if needed, advising services on site, among others. Check out some of the providers we work with!

International Travel Insurance

  •  All students traveling abroad should be covered under the CISI program.
  • Trip leaders for student trips are highly encouraged to also be covered under this plan.

  • It is optional for faculty/staff participating in other educational activities, like conferences for example (since employees have blanket emergency evacuation/repatriation coverage through CISI).

Insurance documents

  1. Dependent Enrollment Form

  2. CISI Health Coverage Overview

  3. Participant Portal Guide

  • Participants cannot access this site until AFTER they are enrolled in the insurance through their program.

Enrollment in a program of study abroad approved for credit by the home institution may be considered enrollment at the home institution for the purpose of applying for assistance under the FSA programs.
