Texas A&M University-Texarkana recognizes that the work place of the future will require higher-level skills performed from an international perspective, A&M-Texarkana prepares students for a knowledge-based, technology-oriented, global economy and society. Therefore, opportunities exist for students to travel outside of the United States.

Summer Session II 2020 International Business Course

Study Abroad Fee: $3,210
Please note that the total cost listed above includes roundtrip airfare from TXK, in-country transportation, lodging, and cultural activities (i.e. Louis Vuitton Designer House, The Louvre, etc). Cost does not include tuition for the course.
Application Deadline: April 10
$500 nonrefundable Deposit (will go toward study abroad fee) Due: 5 business days after application is submitted
After deposit is paid, you will have a study abroad fee of $2,710 on your student account. This fee is due April 27th, 2020. $250 scholarship available.
You must register for the summer session II GBUS440 course. Tuition (not included in study abroad fee) payment deadline is July 6th, 2020.

Spring 2nd 8 weeks 2020 Community Leadership Course

Study Abroad Fee: $2,182 (includes lodging, in country transportation, cultural activities). This fee does not include course tuition or airfare.

TAMUT works with several providers that offer programs almost anywhere you can imagine. The greatest advantage of these programs is that they offer you a package with several things included, like tuition, housing, some meals, excursions, cultural activities, visa support if needed, advising services on site, among others. International Travel Insurance
- All students traveling abroad should be covered under the CISI program.

Trip leaders for student trips are highly encouraged to also be covered under this plan.

It is optional for faculty/staff participating in other educational activities, like conferences for example (since employees have blanket emergency evacuation/repatriation coverage through CISI).

Participants cannot access this site until AFTER they are enrolled in the insurance through their program.
Enrollment in a program of study abroad approved for credit by the home institution may be considered enrollment at the home institution for the purpose of applying for assistance under the FSA programs.
