How long as an FYE coach? This is my first year as an FYE Coach.
Why did you become an FYE coach? I want to help students harness the skills they need to navigate through their first year here. I hope to do things from helping them acclimate to the university to keeping them properly informed on events going on throughout campus.
Fun fact: I’m not from Texas.

How long as an FYE coach? This is my first year as an FYE Coach.
Why did you become an FYE coach? I like seeing my positive impact on my people and be better. The key is enjoying the process until I am on the top.

Why did you become an FYE coach? I wanted to be an FYE Coach because my FYE Coach gave me the support I needed during my first year, and I wanted to be able to share that with others.
Fun fact: When I knit, I like to make amigurumi!

Why did you become an FYE coach? First year experience helped me when I first got here, and I want to provide that same support for other students.
Fun Fact: I’m a double major History and political science

How long as an FYE coach? This is my first year as an FYE coach.
Why did you become an FYE coach? I wanted to be an FYE coach because my first semester in college was a huge transition and I really appreciated my FYE coach and felt comfortable around her. This made me want to help incoming students with whatever they need, whether to rant or to have some comedic relief!
Fun fact: A fun fact about me is that on my first ever FYE event (slip and slide kickball), I kicked the ball on top of the Patterson building!

How long as an FYE coach? this is my second year of being a FYE Coach.
Why did you become an FYE coach? I wanted to be a coach because I remember what it was like to be a freshman first time on my own and having mentors and resources on campus really reduced the stress of being on my own.

How long as an FYE coach? This is my first year as an FYE Coach.
Why did you become an FYE coach? I struggled a bit my first year of college (especially given the fact that COVID was at large) but the burden was lessened even if just by a bit because I had an understanding and kind FYE Coach. I wanted to become an FYE Coach myself just to be able to pay that kindness forward. I wanted to be there for any student who may experience the same struggles I went through and be a pillar of guidance for them in this confusing and hectic journey that is college.
Fun Fact: I have two bearded dragons named Ziggy and Yuki

How long as an FYE coach? First year as an FYE coach.
Why did you become an FYE coach? I’m from Dallas and came to TAMUT because they gave me the best opportunity to pursue my degree in mechanical engineering. I’m loving it so far since I get to mentor and get to know tons of new students. It’s like making a bunch of friends all at once. I’ve enjoyed all the interactions I get to make with students and staff since I’ve been a coach. I’m super thankful for the opportunity.
Fun fact: I enjoy skateboarding, listening to new music and working on my car.

Why did you become an FYE coach? I became an FYE coach to heavily influence new students into using all resources provided by the university.
Fun fact I absolutely love Star Wars minus the squeal movies.

Why did you become an FYE coach? I wanted to be a coach because I wanted to help freshmen in the same way that I was helped when I was a freshman, and I wanted to be someone that could count on for help.
Fun fact: I am obsessed with the Harry Potter series and anything related to it.
