Apply for Graduation Header

All students applying for graduation must complete the online graduation application through Web for Students.  Please review the important deadlines below and additional information related to the commencement ceremonies.

Completion of a degree program is the student's responsibility.  The student's lack of knowledge or misinterpreting policies and regulations does not clear them from completing all degree requirements.  Students who fail to graduate during the semester they have applied must complete a new application form for the semester the degree will be completed.

All correspondence regarding graduation will be sent to your Ace email account.  LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Important Information

Due to the recent pandemic, the December 2020* graduation Ceremony has been postponed until May 14-15, 2021**.

*Degrees for December 2020 graduates will be awarded prior to the May 2021 ceremony, and diplomas will be available 6-8 weeks after grades have been posted.

**The date of the May 2021 ceremony is subject to change and will be guided by federal, state, and local guidelines for social distancing.  Ceremony may be split into multiple ceremonies to accommodate social distancing guidelines.


  • Graduating students should arrive and check in one hour prior to the ceremony
  • Check your ACE email for ceremony information updates.
  • Cap and gown is required for ceremony participation.  Cap and gown may be ordered online at www.tamutshop.com and shop for graduation. Call Eagle Central bookstore at 903.334.6620 for questions.

General seating will be available.  No reserved seating.  Seating is first come, first serve.  If a disabled or elderly person will require accommodations, plan to arrive early to avoid the crowds in the parking lot and facility lobby. 


There is no reserved parking for graduates and their guests. Handicapped parking is available on a first come/first served basis.


Live streaming video of commencement will be available.


Grad Images will be taking photographs for the commencement ceremony.  Participating graduates are urged to pre-register before the ceremony in order to make viewing and ordering the images easier.  Please visit the Grad Images website to pre-register.

Follow the instructions below to view your graduation photos.

  • Go to Grad Images website
  • Enter graduates last name
  • Enter Texas A&M University-Texarkana for the school
  • Enter graduating year
  • Click "Find My Photos"
  • If the graduate has a customer number, enter the graduates last name, customer name and click "Find My Photos".
