TAMUT alumna and award-winning poet, Brittny Ray Crowell will join us at 9:30 to help kick off this event, part of a nationwide program centering and celebrating black voices.

African American Celebration

Join us for this virtual event to celebrate black history about "Shaping Our Future Toward Reconciliation".  There will be an open discussion of African American history and student insights on how to move toward Equality, Inclusion, and Reconciliation.  The event will be facilitated by Dr. Bree Alexander, assistant professor of Social Work, at A&M-Texarkana, and Jennifer Turner, LMSW, LPC who is the Director of Field Education and Clinical Instructor in the Social Works Program at A&M-Texarkana.
