April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April is the state sponsored “Sexual Assault Awareness Month”. A presentation will be made by Terry Ward in room UC210 on April the 18th  @ 1:30.  Terri Ward is the Sexual Assault Services Director based here in Texarkana and has many years of experience with programs and presentations throughout the State of Texas. Sexual assault is a silent crime that often goes unreported. This is a great presentation highlighting new programs that offer more assistance to the victim. A&M-Texarkana is striving to make a difference by educating our students, staff and faculty. This program is being sponsored by the Texas A&M Texarkana-University Police Department.
