Texas A&M University-Texarkana Receives Top Award at User Conference

A&M-Texarkana received a First Place award at the Hannon Hill Corporation’s 8th Annual Cascade Server User Conference, held in Atlanta, Georgia on September 15-17.

A&M-Texarkana was entered in the “Best New Site” category for a completely redesigned, all responsive and mobile-friendly website. Other nominees were: Indiana University - New Class Registration and Financial Aid website; Brandels International Business School - New Site; University of North Georgia – New Site; and Clemson – New Site.

Scott Lent, A&M-Texarkana’s Associate Vice-President of Information Technology and CIO is very pleased about receiving the award. “A lot of hard work and thought went in to building our new website,” said Lent. “Our main goal was to make it easier to navigate on the site and to produce a clean fresh look.” A&M-Texarkana is a proud member of The Texas A&M University System
