A&M-Texarkana Mass Communication Student Crowned Miss Texarkana Texas

Jessica Vickers, a junior mass communication major at A&M-Texarkana, was recently crowned Miss Texarkana, Texas, during the annual Miss Texarkana Twin Rivers Scholarship Pageant. The pageant was held on January 4 at the Sullivan Performing Arts Center. Jessica was among six contestants who competed for the title of Miss Texarkana, Texas. Her platform centered on breast cancer awareness. She dazzled the audience during the pageant by performing a jazz dance routine. Jessica has been a dancer for 16 years. Congratulations to Jessica!
