Sparks in the Park Set for July 4 at Four States Fair Entertainment Center and Fairgrounds

Sparks in the Park 2015, an Independence Day celebration with live music, family-friendly events and a fireworks show, is set for Saturday, July 4, at the Four States Fair Entertainment Center and Fairgrounds in Texarkana. Gates open at 4 p.m. Music starts at 5 p.m. Fireworks choreographed with music begin at 9:30 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

Texas A&M University-Texarkana will sponsor the rock wall at the event. Other activities include a costume contest, photography contest, ice cream eating contests, patriotic strollers and rollers contest, children’s games and races, a kiddie train, a play area with inflatables, face painting, a children’s sandbox, the Lead Foot Mud Drags and more.
