A&M's Got Talent is Friday Night
Texas A&M University-Texarkana will host its third annual A&M's Got Talent competition Friday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. in Eagle Hall of the University Center.
Ten acts were selected in preliminary auditions to compete for a $1,000 prize. Musical-comedy duo Dakaboom will emcee the event.
The celebrity judges panel includes Dr. Glenda Ballard, dean of the College of Education and Liberal Arts; Jeanette Mitchell, customer service specialist; Dr. Massimiliano Laddomada, associate professor of Electrical Engineering; Terrica Kirk, administrative assistant in Enrollment Services; and Barb Wilson, counselor.
"This is always such a fun and amazing event," said Celeste McNiel, assistant director of Student Life. "And the audience vote counts for 50 percent of the total outcome."
The event is free and open to the public.
