PLACE Sets Poster Showcase, Announces Cash Prizes

The Program for Learning and Community Engagement (PLACE) Committee will sponsor a student poster showcase on Friday, Nov. 13, from 4-7 p.m. in Eagle Hall of the University Center, Texas A&M University-Texarkana.

Posters with the theme of “Economic Opportunity” will be judged, and winners will receive $150 for first place, $100 for second place and $50 for third place.

Dr. Glenda Ballard, dean of the College of Education and Liberal Arts, has offered that CELA posters may be awarded $100 for first place, $75 for second place and $25 for third place.
