TRiO Student Support Services Sets Time Management Workshop for Jan. 28

TRiO Student Support Services at Texas A&M University-Texarkana will host a Time Management Workshop Thursday, Jan. 28, at noon in University Center 335.
Guest speaker will be Anthony Arton, coordinator of A&M-Texarkana’s Success Center.
Last semester, A&M-Texarkana announced a $1.1 million TRiO Student Support Services grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
The university will receive $220,000 a year for five years to provide support services for 220 first-generation students, students with disabilities and low-income students.
The goal of the Student Support Services initiative is to increase the college retention and graduation rates of participants.
The workshop is open to all students, faculty and staff.
