TRiO Student Support Services to Host Financial Literacy Workshop on Tuesday

Creating a budget is an important first step in completing both long- and short-term financial goals.

Many individuals are unaware of how much they spend, or how their spending compares to their income. A simple budget can provide them with a better understanding of their personal financial situations.

To help students understand the budget process, TRiO Student Support Services at Texas A&M University-Texarkana will host a Financial Literacy: Grant Aid Budgeting Workshop Tuesday, Feb. 9, at noon in University Center 335.

The workshop is free and is open to all students, faculty and staff.
