A&M-Texarkana Eagles vs. Georgia Gwinnett - Schedule Update

The Texas A&M University-Texarkana Eagles baseball team will take on top-ranked Georgia Gwinnett College of Lawrenceville, Georgia, in a three-game series this weekend at George Dobson Field at Spring Lake Park in Texarkana, Texas. The game on Friday has been rescheduled because of inclement weather. New game times are 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday (doubleheader) and 1 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for youth ages 6-17. Children ages 5 and under will be admitted at no charge.

At 35-1 on the season, the Georgia Gwinnett Grizzlies baseball team is ranked No. 1 in the NAIA Baseball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll and No. 1 in Association of Independent Institutions conference play. A&M-Texarkana is 22-9 on the season and No. 2 in AII conference play.

In conjunction with the iServe Week of community service at A&M-Texarkana, Eagles Athletics and the Office of Student Life will host a canned food drive at the games to benefit the Salvation Army. For every two cans of food donated at the games, attendees will receive one ticket to be placed in a drawing for a deluxe A&M-Texarkana Eagles gift basket. Participants must be present to win.
