NAIA Selection Show Party is Friday in Eagle Lounge

The Texas A&M University-Texarkana Athletics department will host a Selection Show party Friday, May 13, at 3 p.m. in Eagle Lounge in the University Center on the A&M-Texarkana campus at 7101 University Ave., Texarkana, Texas.

The Selection Show will celebrate the Eagles baseball team, which has qualified for the first round of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics tournament. A&M-Texarkana will be placed in a five-team tournament, one of nine tournaments across the country, and the winner of that tournament will go on to the World Series in Lewiston, Idaho, on May 27-June 3.

A&M-Texarkana is one of 46 teams still playing this season out of 296 NAIA institutions in the United States and Canada.
