A&M-Texarkana and City of Texarkana to Host Ribbon Cutting for e3 Pavilion at Spring Lake Park
Texas A&M University-Texarkana and the City of Texarkana, Texas, will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Experiential Environmental Education (e3) Pavilion at Spring Lake Park on Tuesday, May 3, at 9:45 a.m. The pavilion is adjacent to James Bramlett Field, 4303 N. Park Rd., Texarkana, Texas.
Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, junior-level pre-service teachers in the Methods for Science, Math, Health and PE class at A&M-Texarkana will conduct environmental education learning exercises with second-grade students from Highland Park Elementary School.
The pavilion will provide students in the region with experiential learning opportunities in environmental education. It is available to schools in the region, as well as the general public.
