SOAR Sessions Set for New Students

Texas A&M University-Texarkana will host a Student Orientation, Advising and Registration (SOAR) session for new freshmen Thursday and Friday, June 9-10, on the A&M-Texarkana campus at 7101 University Ave., Texarkana, Texas. Check-in is set for 1 p.m. Thursday at Bringle Lake Village.

The orientation experience is designed to encourage student engagement and to familiarize new students with the campus community.

The program includes information on the first-year experience, a campus tour, freshmen meet-up, ropes activity and a values/honor code session.

All spaces are filled for the June 9-10 SOAR session. Additional sessions are June 23-24 and July 14-15.
