Eagles Athletics and Student Veterans Association to Host Veterans Appreciation Day on Saturday

The Eagles Athletics department and Student Veterans Association at Texas A&M University-Texarkana will host a Veterans Appreciation Day on Saturday, Sept. 10, at noon at the Eagles soccer game against Millsaps College.

The colors will be presented by the local U.S. Army recruiting office. Members of the Student Veterans Association will host a barbecue at halftime to symbolize that even though they have transitioned from serving the nation in the military, they are still serving others.

Everyone is asked to wear red in support of veterans and active-duty military personnel. Admission is free.
