A&M-Texarkana to Host Inaugural Family Weekend

Texas A&M University-Texarkana will host its first Family Weekend, Oct. 28-30, on the A&M-Texarkana campus, 7101 University Ave., Texarkana, Texas.

“Family Weekend is the perfect opportunity for students’ family members and friends to experience the Eagle spirit and community that our students enjoy each day at A&M-Texarkana,” said Kelly O’Keefe, coordinator of New Student and Transition Programs.

During Family Weekend, students, family members and friends will visit with faculty, enjoy “The Secret Life of Pets” movie under the stars, play lawn games and bubble soccer at the Eagle Tailgate, and play Big Money Bingo for prizes.

A college panel will feature information about the A&M-Texarkana experience. There will also be time for students to show their family members and friends around Texarkana.
