Grad Fair ’16 is Thursday at A&M-Texarkana

Texas A&M University-Texarkana will host Grad Fair ’16 on Thursday, Oct. 13, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Eagle Lounge of the University Center on the A&M-Texarkana campus, 7101 University Ave., Texarkana, Texas.

Grad Fair is a one-stop planning event designed to assist graduating students in receiving information about the Commencement Ceremony on Dec. 9. Staff from the Office of the Registrar will be available to assist students in making sure they are on track to graduate.

At Grad Fair, students will be able to

• pick up a new, customized A&M-Texarkana cap and gown at a 10 percent discount rate.
• have a graduation photo made.
• order official A&M-Texarkana personalized graduation announcements.
• order an official A&M-Texarkana Ring and participate in the Fall 2016 Ring Ceremony on Dec. 1. A&M-Texarkana students who have achieved a minimum of 90 credit hours are eligible to purchase a TAMUT Ring and participate in the ring ceremony.
• purchase an official A&M-Texarkana diploma frame.
• visit the A&M-Texarkana Alumni Association table and join for only $15 with a new graduate membership.
• learn ways to save on insurance premiums with Liberty Mutual Insurance Co.
• check out the new A&M-Texarkana collegiate merchandise from the Eagle Central Bookstore.
• stop by the Career Services table to gather information on career contacts.
