A&M-Texarkana Ring Ceremony is Dec. 1
The Texas A&M University-Texarkana Alumni Association will host the fall 2016 A&M-Texarkana Ring ceremony Thursday, Dec. 1, at 6 p.m. in Eagle Hall of the University Center, 7101 University Ave., Texarkana, Texas. Faculty, staff, students and guests of ring recipients are invited.
The A&M-Texarkana ring serves as a tangible reminder of a student’s achievement and memories at A&M-Texarkana. During this special ceremony, participants will be formally presented with their ring.
Any A&M-Texarkana current or former student who has completed 90 or more semester credit hours is eligible to wear the official ring.
Students wear the ring with the school name facing them. When they receive their degrees at commencement, graduates turn the ring around, symbolizing that the graduates are now ready to face the world.
