Texas A&M University-Texarkana Names Interim Dean of STEM
Dr. Gary Stading, interim provost and vice president for Academic Affairs at Texas A&M University-Texarkana, announced today the appointment of Dr. David Reavis as interim dean of the College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
Dr. Reavis has served as the interim dean of the College of Business for the past five months. He has been a member of the A&M-Texarkana faculty since 2001 and has previously served as an interim dean of the College of STEM.
Dr. Reavis will begin serving as the interim dean of the College of STEM in January. Until that time, the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs will remain responsible for College of STEM administrative duties.
“Dr. Reavis has done an outstanding job as interim dean of the College of Business,” Dr. Stading said. “Please join me in welcoming him as he serves as interim dean of the College of STEM.”
