International Student Club sets Coffee House Afternoon

The International Student Club at Texas A&M University-Texarkana will host Coffee House Afternoon on Friday, March 31, in Eagle Lounge on the first floor of the University Center on the A&M-Texarkana campus, 7101 University Ave., Texarkana, Texas.

Students, faculty, staff and campus visitors are invited to stop by the lounge for Starbucks coffee, international treats, popcorn and conversation with international students at A&M-Texarkana.

“Getting together for a cup of coffee is a universal method to initiate conversation and make new friends,” said Jennifer Felps, director of International Studies at A&M-Texarkana. “The International Student Club wants to facilitate this interaction on campus by hosting this event.”

The International Student Club has representatives from six continents and several countries around the world.

“This Friday afternoon will be a great time to expand your global mindset by coming out to our beautiful campus to enjoy a cup of coffee and snack on some international treats,” Felps said
