John F. Moss Library Book Club to Discuss ‘The Shack’

The John F. Moss Library Book Club at Texas A&M University-Texarkana will discuss New York Times bestseller “The Shack” by William P. Young on Thursday, March 2, from 12:15-1:30 p.m. in the Tri-State Iron & Metal Atrium on the third floor of the University Center on the A&M-Texarkana campus, 7101 University Ave., Texarkana, Texas.

“The Shack” tells the story of a father who finds himself questioning his beliefs after suffering a family tragedy. He then receives a mysterious letter in the mail urging him to visit an abandoned shack, which leads him on a life-changing transformative and spiritual journey.

A movie adaptation of “The Shack,” directed by Stuart Hazeldine, is set for release on March 3 with Sam Worthington playing Mack, Octavia Spencer as Papa and Tim McGraw as Willie.

The A&M-Texarkana John F. Moss Library Book Club discussion is open to the public. A light lunch will be served.
