A&M-Texarkana to Host Freshman Meet-and-Greet Events

Texas A&M University-Texarkana will host a series of meet-and-greet events for incoming freshmen and their family members in March and April.

There will be a Freshman Meet and Greet in Texarkana on Tuesday, March 28, from 6-8 p.m. in the Tri-State Iron & Metal Atrium on the third floor of the University Center on the A&M-Texarkana campus, 7101 University Ave., Texarkana, Texas.

The first 10 people to register for the event will receive an A&M-Texarkana T-shirt. Register today at https://tamut.eventbrite.com.

Additional meet-and-greet events will be Thursday, March 30, at 6 p.m. at the Hyatt Place Richardson, 5101 N. George Bush Highway, Garland, Texas, and on Thursday, April 6, at 6 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton, 2015 Old Minden Rd., Bossier City, Louisiana.

The meet-and-greet events provide opportunities for students to get to know other incoming freshmen, sign up for housing and discuss financial aid opportunities.

Representatives from Admissions, Financial Aid, First Year Experience/Student Success, Student Life and Housing will be available to answer questions and welcome students to the A&M-Texarkana family.

Door prizes will be awarded every 30 minutes.
