Texas A&M University-Texarkana to Host Youth Softball Clinic

Texas A&M University-Texarkana will host a youth softball hitting and fielding clinic Sunday, Sept. 24, at Bramlett Field at Spring Lake Park, 4303 North Park Road, Texarkana, Texas.

There will be a free session using an 11-inch softball for youth ages 6-10 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Only 40 slots are available.

The clinic for youth ages 10 to 8th grade using a 12-inch softball is set for 12-3 p.m. Cost is $45. Pre-registered participants will receive a T-shirt. Only 40 slots are available.

Participants must bring a bat, glove, cleats and a water bottle.

A&M-Texarkana will have its inaugural softball season in spring 2018 under the leadership of Coach Marie Stone. Games will be played at Bramlett Field.
