University Honors Colloquium to Focus on Opioid Epidemic

“The Opidemic: National and Local Issues” will be the focus of a University Honors colloquium on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 6 p.m. in University Center 217 on the A&M-Texarkana campus, 7101 University Ave., Texarkana, Texas.
Dr. David Yells, provost and vice president for academic affairs at A&M-Texarkana, will be the guest speaker.
The University Honors Colloquia are a series of scholarly talks and presentations offered throughout the academic year. They provide a venue for University Honors students and faculty to present their research. The program also brings speakers to campus from outside the university community.
The free event is open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
