Eagles Women's Soccer Team Advances to RRAC Championship Final 4

The Texas A&M University-Texarkana women’s soccer team on Saturday advanced to the Red River Athletic Conference semifinals with a 3-1 win over the University of the Southwest of Hobbs, New Mexico.

The #3 seed Eagles will take on the #2 seed Wiley College Wildcats in semifinal action on Thursday, Nov. 9, at 1:30 p.m. at Eagle Field on the A&M-Texarkana campus.

The RRAC women’s championship game is set for Friday at 5 p.m. at Eagle Field. The men’s finals are at 7:30 p.m. The daily gate fee is $10.

Canned Food Drive
In conjunction with the tournament, A&M-Texarkana student-athletes will be conducting a canned food drive with all donations benefiting Harvest Regional Food Bank.

Faculty, staff and students with ID from all schools will be admitted into the tournament free each day with the donation of five non-perishable food items at the gate per person.

In a Champions of Character challenge, each RRAC team is asked to bring one canned good per player to the RRAC banquet on Wednesday evening.
