Management Information Systems, Computer Science, and Mathematics
Welcome to the Department of Management Information Systems, Computer Science, and Mathematics (MCM)

Engaging beyond the Classroom
CBET prides itself on providing opportunities for our majors, minors, and graduate students to pursue opportunities and experiences that allow them to connect academic knowledge with practical skills through internships with local companies. The greater Texarkana region provides numerous employment opportunities in diverse areas, such as defense, manufacturing, transportation, and healthcare amongst others. Our students visit companies located in Texarkana and nearby areas (e.g., Dillard's in Little Rock) to study manufacturing and business processes and regularly receive offers for internships and jobs (e.g., Red River Army Depot, Cooper Tire & Rubber Company, Graphic Packaging International, Guaranty Bank and Trust, Thompson Software Solutions, Wadley Regional Medical Center).
