Red River Innovation Lab for the Humanities (RRILH)

The Red River Innovation Lab for the Humanities (RRILH) at the University offers equipment rentals for researchers and scholars. Items such as cameras, lights, tripods and other tools are available to borrow. The lab is committed to strengthening research and education in Humanities and helping scholars and researchers reach their goals. They strive to further intellectual exploration and collaboration with their accessible and innovative technology.

Rental Equipment

The RRILH currently has the following equipment available for rent:

  • Camera lights
  • Camera tripods
  • Yeti microphones
  • Portable digital voice recorders
  • iPads
  • Headphones
  • Selfie Ring Lights with Tripod

In-Lab Use

In the lab, you can access a host of software and computer applications via two loaded MACs including:

  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Audacity (for audio file editing)
  • SPSS (for quantitative analysis)
  • HyperResearch (for qualitative data analysis)

Programs & Events

The RRILH offers specialized workshops and events throughout the year. We also host face-to-face and virtual guest lectures by scholars, researchers, and digital humanities practitioners.
