Ways to Give

Funded Scholarships

Privately funded scholarships are the key to maintaining a margin of excellence in attracting and retaining students to A&M-Texarkana.  Among the University’s top fundraising priorities is to expand and deepen support for student scholarships, including need and merit based scholarships.  Funded scholarships are typically distributed the year they are received by A&M-Texarkana, and the award amount is equal to the amount contributed.

Greatest Need

Donations come in all sizes, and you may make an unrestricted gift to be used where Texas A&M University-Texarkana finds the greatest need.  Gifts of all sizes combine to impact students, faculty, academic programs, libraries, facilities and much more limitless possibilities.

Annual Gift

Many of our donors donate on an annual basis or start their own scholarship by committing to an annual gift. Any amount you donate will make a significant impact on a student today. TAMUT's annual fund campaign is "Double Your Impact". Donate today!

Endowed Scholarships

An endowed scholarship fund provides scholarships year after year from a portion of the fund’s earnings. By providing at least $25,000 in funding, you can create an endowed scholarship fund, with the option of taking up to three years to contribute the minimum funding requirement.

Honorarium/Memorial Donations

A gift in honor or memory of a special person or event is a thoughtful way to recognize a special occasion or an individual’s life and accomplishments in addition to supporting Texas A&M University-Texarkana students. These donations can be applied toward a scholarship, a specific project or area, or to the university’s greatest need.

Estate Gifts

Some donors choose to give in the form of estate gifts, which could include wills, gift annuities, charitable trusts, charitable business bailouts, land-related assets and more. You can ensure recognition while providing an opportunity for continued growth for the university. Contact us at

Eagle Pantry

The Charlotte Sharp Memorial Endowment is established to support and sustain the Eagle Pantry on the campus of Texas A&M University-Texarkana. The Eagle Pantry opened in September 2019 to provide essential non-perishable and personal hygiene items to students in need.

Athletic Complex
Texas A&M University-Texarkana is currently in the planning phase of a state-of-the-art athletic facility that will bring the university baseball, softball, and tennis programs onto campus. The addition of these new facilities will create a more robust student experience on campus, allow for greater campus interaction with the community, and give our teams a true home field advantage.
