A&M-Texarkana Announces New Educational Partnership with TSD Logistics

TEXARKANA, Texas – Texas A&M University-Texarkana and TSD Logistics have entered a new academic partnership that will allow TSD employees to take courses at the university at a discounted rate. The partnership was officially launched with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on May 28, 2024. The signing ceremony took place on the Texas A&M University-Texarkana campus.

“We are proud to announce our academic partnership with TSD Logistics” said A&M-Texarkana President Ross Alexander. “For more than 40 years they have been an innovative force in the logistics industry. One of their core values is investing in the lives of their employees, which this partnership will help facilitate. We look forward to helping TSD employees work towards attaining their educational goals.”

“We are thankful to Dr. Alexander for the opportunity to be a part of this educational collaboration with TAMUT,” said Ryan Berry, President and CEO of TSD Logistics. “One of our Core Values at TSD pledges to have the best people, with the best training and tools, providing the best service. This partnership with the University helps us live out that promise by making crucial training and education more easily accessible.”

Under the terms of the new partnership all full-time employees of TSD Logistics will receive a discount on all undergraduate, graduate, certificate, or micro-credential programs delivered in-person, online, or through a hybrid format. The agreement also waives the standard application fee. In addition to the tuition discount, any eligible employee who is a new student at the university will receive the First Flight Scholarship, which gives the new student their first class free if they are enrolled in at least 6 hours at the undergraduate or graduate level.

The discount is effective immediately, and registration for summer 2024 and fall 2024 classes is happening now. Employees wishing to take advantage of the new partnership must meet the admissions standards of the program to which they apply and must remain in good academic standing.
