Parking Ticket Appeals Procedure
To appeal a university-issued citation, submit a Parking Appeal Form. Appeals go first to the Chief of Police or their designee for review and a decision.
Note: This process does not apply to county-issued citations.
If you disagree with the first decision, you may request a review by the TAMUT Parking and Traffic Appeals Committee within seven business days of the decision.
The committee includes:
- 2 TAMUT staff members
- 2 TAMUT faculty members
- 1 TAMUT student
Once your appeal is accepted, a hearing will be scheduled. If the committee denies your appeal, you must pay the fine within seven business days of the decision.
The committee’s decision is final.
