Criminal Justice Internships
Criminal Justice seniors are required to take an internship class, completing 130 hours (with other requirements). The internship offers participant-observation and hands-on experience that provides the opportunity to integrate theory and practice. It also provides an excellent networking opportunity for our students as well as a recruiting tool for our partner criminal justice agencies.
Forms:
- Texas A&M University Texarkana Criminal Justice Internship Program Handbook
- Checklist
- CJ 400 Application Form (download)
- Waiver and Release of Liability
- Internship Supervisor Information
- Internship Daily Log
Students may sign up for CJ 400 when offered, if they meet the prerequisites. For any questions, or for any criminal justice partner agencies who wish to participate, please contact Dr. Tom Jordan at tom.jordan@tamut.edu.
