Process:
- Apply to A&M-Texarkana (Apply Texas or CollegeNet)
- Select BS in Nursing (ADN to BSN) as major
- Meet with the transfer advisor; call (903)334-6685 to schedule an appointment.
- Applications accepted year round. Start date is every 8 weeks. For program application, click here.
- Acceptance decisions from nursing will be sent from Kristie Avery, Admissions Coordinator; kavery@tamut.edu
Requirements:
- Valid, current unencumbered registered nurse (RN) license
- Graduation from a nationally accredited (CCNE, ACEN, CNEA) nursing program or state board of nursing approved professional nursing program. Applicants cannot attend TAMUT's RN to BSN program if previous nursing program was not nationally or state accredited.
- Meet TAMUT transfer student admission requirements
- Current CPR for Health Providers Certifications (BCLS)
- Current, up-to date immunization records
- Negative 12-panel urine drug screen
- Proof of Personal health insurance
- Reference letter
- FBI Background Check
