Freshman Orientation
Our new student orientation program for first-time college students aims to officially welcome and support the transition of new Eagles and their families to Texas A&M University-Texarkana. We achieve this by connecting students with peers, academic leadership, student support services, and opportunities for co-curricular engagement.
Our goal is to help connect you with everything you need to know about life as an Eagle. Additionally, you’ll meet with our academic advisors and register for your first semester of classes!

Summer and Fall Student Orientation Information
- Congratulations on being admitted to TAMUT! Now that you are admitted, please take a moment to complete online orientation. This orientation will provide you with an overview of what we have to offer you, and an items checklist to help prepare you for your next steps.
- Once you have completed your checklist items, you are ready to meet with your academic advisor. Schedule an appointment with your academic advisor to complete the registration process.
