When is Family Weekend?
Family Weekend will take place Friday, October 23 through Saturday, October 24, 2026.
Who can attend Family Weekend?
Family Weekend is open to parents, grandparents, siblings, spouses, partners, and extended family members, A&M Texarkana students.
Do I need to register?
Registration is required to receive the Family Weekend registration package and participate in activities designated for registered guests.
Some events may be free and open to all families regardless of registration. Check the Family Weekend Schedule for requirements for individual events.
How much does Family Weekend cost?
Family Weekend registration is $25 per registered guest.
Some optional activities may have an additional cost.
What is included with registration?
Registration includes an official Family Weekend T-shirt, Friday evening dinner, Saturday morning Breakfast, Family Weekend materials and giveaways, and access to designated Family Weekend activities.

Can children attend?
Yes! Family Weekend is designed to welcome the entire Eagle family. Children are welcome to attend unless otherwise noted for a specific activity.
Children 5 and under are free.
Where do we check in?
Family Weekend check-in information will be provided to registered families before the event.
What should I wear?
Family Weekend is casual. We recommend comfortable clothing and shoes since activities may take place throughout campus and outdoors.
Don't forget to wear your Eagle gear!
What happens if it rains?
Some Family Weekend activities are scheduled outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, activities may be relocated, modified, postponed, or canceled.
Updates will be communicated to registered families and posted on the Family Weekend website as appropriate.
Are refunds available?
Please note, all Family Weekend registration fees are nonrefundable.
Can we attend community events without registering for Family Weekend?
Yes. Community events are separate from official Family Weekend registration unless otherwise noted. Some community activities may require their own registration or admission fee.
