About the Honors College at A&M-Texarkana
The Honors Program at A&M-Texarkana traces its origins back to 2010 when it was established to enrich the educational experience for exceptional students. Since its inception, the Honors Program has been dedicated to fostering academic excellence through rigorous coursework, mentorship opportunities, and engaging co-curricular activities. It aims to cultivate a community of scholars who are driven to explore intellectual challenges and pursue innovative research. Over the years, the Honors Program has expanded its offerings, including the development of specialized programs and initiatives designed to support student success and leadership development within the university community. The new Honors College was officially introduced and developed in 2024, building upon A&M-Texarkana's strong academic foundation to offer students opportunities to shape their educational journey.
